After scouring the country for the next spot to bring their wildly successful ATK EATS festival, a celebration of cooking, food and wine, America’s Test Kitchen picked Seattle.
The inaugural ATK EATS festival launched in Boston in 2017 and drew close to 3,000 attendees. It provided an all-inclusive dining experience, including the opportunity to join award-winning chefs for interactive tasting stations, book signings, main stage demos, and music at ATK’s brand new, state-of-the-art headquarters and studios.

So how did the Emerald City rise to the top for their second location? David Nussbaum, CEO of ATK, explains; “For more than two decades, America’s Test Kitchen has been a trusted resource for millions of home cooks who watch our television series, subscribe to our magazines, buy our books and enroll in our online cooking school,” said Nussbaum. “When we began dreaming of expanding ATK EATS and brainstorming where we’d find a new home, Seattle was at the top of everyone’s list. Chefs here have an amazing bounty of fresh ingredients and the people who live here have an incredible appreciation for their food and how it’s prepared. We’re thrilled to collaborate with the culinary community here to create this world-class event.”
ATK EATS will take place November 2nd and 3rd and will bring together an all-star lineup of celebrated chefs and culinary leaders. The event kicks off on Friday with a 90’s-themed birthday bash to celebrate 25 years of ATK’s highly regarded Cook’s Illustrated Magazine. Guests will celebrate with ATK TV talent and sample unique cuisine inspired by Seattle’s premiere chefs. There will be birthday-themed craft cocktails, and of course, birthday cake, with the sounds of the 90’s as the soundtrack for the evening.
On Saturday, November 3rd, ATK Seattle EATS Cooking, Food & Wine festival will include tastings from the Pacific Northwest’s top culinary talent, as well as cooking demonstrations, book signings, music and more.
Don’t be intimidated by the all-star lineup; ATK EATS is a festival for anyone who enjoys good food. For a limited time, America’s Test Kitchen will provide each person who purchases a full-price ticket free access to AmericasTestKitchen.com.
