We’ve heard about a few delicious and entertaining ways to spend this upcoming, sun-kissed weekend (have you seen that forecast?), and we thought we’d share the goodness with you!

Over the next couple days, Tony’s Chocolonely will make the rounds in several Seattle neighborhoods. As part of its first-ever Chocotruck tour, the Amsterdam-based purveyors of slave-free, bean-to-bar chocolate have decided to hit the road to help consumers learn about the cocoa industry via hands-on features—while also letting them sample the delicious chocolate for themselves. Here’s where to join the fun:

~May 11 from 11am – 3pm

Looking for some Saturday adventure? Help Rad Power Bikes celebrate their brand-new  Ballard showroom, described as a blend between a shiny Tesla showroom and an interactive Apple store. The showroom was designed and constructed by Ballard businesses, using locally-sourced materials (down to the plywood), and the space is five times larger than their previous store. Cruise in to the company’s only physical location in the U.S. to learn more about ebikes and to take a test ride, too. Event details above!

In other news, businesses around town offer specials to celebrate wonderful moms this Sunday; for “experience” gift ideas, check out alluring classes/workshops at brand-new The Works Seattle. We’re also excited about Sam Cohen and Kevin Morby playing The Showbox Tuesday the 14th, the arrival of Seattle Beer Week (on Wednesday, May 15, Seaplane Kitchen and Bar teams up with Hellbent Brewing Company to serve the specially-brewed Gate City IPA to benefit North Helpline), and the Seattle International Film Festival is getting ready to roll on the 16th. Enjoy!
