As the name might suggest, Erin’s company aims to bake with simple, all-natural, whole food ingredients while changing childhood obesity “one breakfast at a time.” Her products are incredibly tasty (trust us!), her passion is palpable, and her motto is simple: “Small acts of compassion, when multiplied, will change the world.”
The wooded campsites and dusty trails of Pendarvis Farm might have felt a wee bit more packed this year, but who can blame the brand-new converts for joining Pickathon’s crew of longtime, loyal fans? When word gets out about a really, really good thing, it turns out—people listen.

While many ZooTunes shows sold out early, tickets remain for Tuesday and Wednesday (August 2nd and 3rd), and Pink Martini promises to put on a fun and dazzling show. Summer has begun to accelerate at lightning speed, and we suddenly feel that it’s prime time to soak up every sun-kissed moment of the season. Especially in summertime, tickets sell like hotcakes to cool venues featuring even cooler performers—from talents on the cusp to already-established legends. After catching all kinds of good (free!) tunes at the Fremont Solstice events this weekend, we recommend you head to The Triple Door on Tuesday, June 21, to hear two amazing acts—Empty Houses and Good Old War—from the comfort of one of Seattle’s best-loved (and most laid-back) venues.
