A sensational Swede returns this August—and other can’t-miss shows.
Daniel Norgren—an otherworldly “Swede with soul”—is returning to the U.S. this summer, and we couldn’t be more thrilled. This incredible talent will be back at Pickathon in early August (a dream come true), before heading up to Ballard’s Tractor for two shows (with Phil Cook) on August 7 and 8. Tickets for both performances go on sale today at 10 a.m.; they sold out last year, so we recommend jumping onboard ASAP!

Do you love music but not the hassle of concert queues and packed venues? Well, do we have news for you. Plenty of new offerings this season allow you to enjoy groovy tunes from the ease and coziness of your own home. See below for some of our favorite findings.
“NVDES is a world I created,” says Josh Ocean of his multi-genre indie collective. As producer and de-facto frontman, Ocean ignites controlled chaos by, he says, “building songs around random moments.” This has yielded La Nvdité, Vol. 1 (released on August 11th), an intriguing introduction to NVDES’ levitating, melodic laptop-punk.
