This black-tie affair will feature a brassy live performance from Mach One Jazz Orchestra, as well as the hottest club hits courtesy of Kiss 106.1 and DJ Tamm. Satiate your hunger with light hors d’oeuvres and enjoy other perks, such as complimentary massages and caricatures. Best of all, don’t stress about pushing and shoving for cabs home at midnight — as an exclusive deal for bash attendees, rooms are available for only $129 on the night of the event.

Roaring Twenties NYE 2012 Aboard The “Royal”

When: Boarding from 7 – 7:30 p.m.; return time is 1:30 a.m.

What: Spend New Year’s Eve aboard a yacht on Elliot Bay at this glitzy soiree that’s straight out of the Jazz Age — and be sure to dress accordingly. Passengers will enjoy complimentary hors d’oeuvres and desserts, as well as drinks in the exclusive “Club 21” Prohibition Lounge. If you really want to go crazy, spring for a VIP ticket to receive perks, such as premium seating, plated service, party favors and (best of all) inclusive cocktails and wine.

Indulgence New Year’s Eve Bash

Where: Experience Music Project

When: 8 p.m. to…whenever

What: Within a 140,000-square-foot space that contains more than 25 cash bars, guests who spend NYE at EMP may choose from five party options:

  • Jam out to hits of the 70’s, 80’s and 90’s, courtesy of Brand X!, a high-energy party band from Seattle
  • Stroll through the museum and admire current exhibits, such as “Can’t Look Away: The Lure of the Horror Film” and “Nirvana: Taking Grunge to the Masses”
  • Dance and sing-along to live renditions of New Wave classics, courtesy of local quintet 80s Invasion
  • Laugh the night away in the Comedy Lounge, with performances from several nationally-renowned stand-up comics, as well as a few local up-and-comers
  • Groove to live club beats, spun by DJ Mack Long from MOViN 92.5

Euphoria: The Moet Masquerade

Where: Republiq

When: 9 p.m. – 2 a.m.

What: Add a touch of chic mystery to your celebration at Republiq’s annual masquerade ball. Enjoy a complimentary midnight champagne toast and two rooms of music with DJ Supreme and DJ Charma as they spin top 40, dance, and pop mash-ups. Dress in “high fashion” and bring your own blinged-out mask — cash prizes will be awarded for best masks of the evening. A limited number of complimentary masks will also be available.

Sparkle NYE 2012

Where: See Sound Lounge

When: 9 p.m. – 3 a.m.

What: Head to the See Sound Lounge for a NYE DJ extravaganza. Stereo Medics, Keith Chambers, Miguel Alvarado, and DJ Paydro will spin in two sparkle-tastic rooms for guests to enjoy. At midnight, all attendees will receive free bubbly to throw back beneath a celebratory balloon drop. Make sure to wear your best — a dress code will be strictly enforced.
