Plugged In: The Physics “Tomorrow People” Album Release Show

A summer of hip-hop heat.

If you’ve kept up with the bubbling local hip hop scene, you’ve already come across The Physics. The group is a local favorite so expect a packed house at their album release show for “Tomorrow People” at the end of this month.

True Seattleites, The Physics hold a sense of Northwest pride that they share with their listeners. Group members Thig Nat, Monk Wordsmith and Justo have been making music since they met in high school over a decade ago. Their last album, Love Is A Business was ranked number 5 in the “Local Top 10” of the Seattle Times’ “Best Pop Music of 2011.” And it wouldn’t be a Northwest show without friends. The all ages show will also include performances by The Bar (Prometheus Brown of Blue Scholars & Bambu), Brothers From Another, and Jake One.

Check out the album teaser video below for a sneak peak of their upcoming song, “So Funkie” and download their current single “Days” off of the new album for free here.
