West Seattle welcomes a sophisticated neighborhood lounge.

In this edition of Food Porn, we feature Duos Lounge, an intimate and classy space showcasing shareable small bites. With bold flavors and exquisite plating, the food is both a pleasure to eat and look at. The cozy atmosphere is great for a casual weeknight meal or sharing drinks and appetizers with friends before heading out to weekend adventures.

Some Asian-inspired dishes include the Lumpia Stack, a Filipino style Carlton Farms pork egg roll with Nuoc Mam sauce. The Kimchi Rice is topped with a quail egg and American caviar and isn’t shy in the flavor department, packing boldness into three spoonfuls.

Creamy and cheesy Cauliflower and Gruyere Crab Dip features roasted cauliflower, gruyere, Dungeness crab, and a truffle cream sauce. Seared Diver Scallop showcases one perfectly cooked scallop served over a parsnip puree and bacon chutney with a quail egg.

The favorite was the Corn Dogs (who would’ve guessed?!). The fresh corn batter fries up to a crunchy, but light, golden brown crust, enveloping a soft sausage inside. The chipotle honey mustard was just tangy enough to offset the richness of the dish.

Dishes are plated with such a keen attention to detail, they are *almost* too pretty to eat. Portions here are petite, so make sure to order many dishes for the table to share. Duos is worth the trip out of downtown; come hither.

Open for dinner Tuesday – Thursday from 5:00 pm to 9:30 pm and Friday and Saturday from 5:00 pm to 10:30 pm. The Bar and Lounge is oepn until 1:00 am on Fridays and Saturdays.
