Wake up for Joule’s brunch.

In this edition of Food Porn, we feature Joule, the sister restaurant to Revel, owned by Rachel Yang and Seif Chirchi. The restaurant relocated from Wallingford to the Fremont Collective Complex last November serving up bold Korean American fare.

The brunch menu boasts mouthwatering savory entrees. Your entree includes a trip to the buffet bar featuring seasonal selections that change monthly. Buttery and flakey housemade hazelnut chocolate croissants, hearty lentils, and a crisp Asian pear salad are just a few of the items that you can dish up.

The luscious brown butter Grits are served with plump, fresh shrimp. The Sesame Waffle is fluffy and crunchy and topped with a thinly sliced chicken fried steak. Served with a smoky maple syrup, it should be drizzled without inhibition.

For a meatier option, the chuck short rib Steak is served with sunny side eggs and a deliciously herbaceous cilantro chimichurri sauce. The sweet chili rubbed Porchetta is moist and decadent with a hearty oatmeal filling, reminiscent of holiday stuffing.

The atmosphere at Joule is classy, but casual. The open kitchen allows patrons to watch the bustling chefs work their magic. Stop by soon.

Brunch is served on weekends from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. Dinner is served daily from 5:00 pm on.
