HBO Documentary Films and Seattle International Film Festival (SIFF) present the Seattle premiere of EVERYTHING IS COPY on Tuesday, March 8th at the SIFF Cinema Uptown. Seattle had a special place in Nora’s heart, especially given the success of Sleepless in Seattle, one of the most beloved romantic comedies of all time. An audience Q&A with Nora’s son, Jacob Bernstein, will follow the March 8 screening. We are giving away free passes to the screening! Read below on how to enter.

Written and directed by her son, Jacob, this documentary tracks Nora Ephron’s rise from the mailroom of Newsweek to a notable stint reporting for the New York Post. Marked by biting honesty and intelligent humor, her incisive writing soon began appearing regularly in Esquire, New York Magazine, the New York Times and Cosmopolitan, winning devoted fans and foes alike.

EVERYTHING IS COPY features intimate interviews with many of the people closest to Nora, including her three sisters, Delia, Amy and Hallie Ephron, along with writers such as Gay Talese and Marie Brenner and film industry colleagues including Tom Hanks, Rob Reiner, Meg Ryan, Steven Spielberg and Meryl Streep.
