Help animals by drinking beer!
If your favorite way to drink beer is with a side of philanthropy, we have great news for you! Ghostfish Brewing and Emerald City Pet Rescue (ECPR) have come together to create Rescue Remedy Pacific Ale, a special beer project to commemorate the 2nd anniversary of ECPR, a non-profit dedicated to rescuing and rehabilitating neglected animals.
The limited-edition brew, Rescue Remedy Pacific Ale, is a crisp golden ale with New Zealand grown Wakatu hops, dry-hopped to give it a refreshing lemon & lime kick. The can also has some sweet features, as the lid is equipped with an innovative pull-tab, allowing you to be able to keep and refill this good-looking can if you so desire. The can design itself is very attractive, featuring the Seattle skyline, as well as animal designs and pictures of actual rescued animals.
If you don’t do gluten, we have even more good news for you. You too can help our furry friends as this brew, along with everything at Ghostfish Brewing, is gluten free! So next time you’re on a beer run (perhaps for the big game this weekend, go Hawks!), you can feel good knowing that over 90% of the proceeds will be going to ECPR.
Rescue Remedy Pacific Ale is currently available on draught and in 6-packs of 12oz aluminum cans for sale in the brewery taproom, located at 2942 1st Ave S. in Seattle.
