Elysian’s Capitol Hill Series release party for Peated Porter and special performance by Thunderpussy in support of the Plymouth Housing Group. There will be a ceremonial tapping of Peated Porter led by Capitol Hill Lead Brewer, Hiawatha Rhyans.

On Friday, January 13th, Elysian will be tapping the Peated Porter – the latest in Elysian’s Capitol Hill Series. The series is a collection of new and old beers from Elysian’s original Capitol Hill brewhouse, and is the first of six to be released in 2017. Take in the sounds, tastes and the sight of a ceremonial tapping of the Peated Porter and toast from Capitol Hill Lead Brewer, Hiawatha Rhyans.

Peated Porter is not your average porter. Peated is brewed with Pale, Munich, Chocolate, Special B and just enough Peated Malt with some Midnight Wheat thrown in for a dark touch of color. Finally, Peated is bittered with Magnum and whirlpool additions of Fuggle and Chinook to help balance out the peat aroma. ABV: 5.5%, IBU: 25
