Gifting Island Goodies and Planning Future Travels to the San Juans

Roche Harbor by Kevin D. Holmes

Our love for Washington’s islands is no secret. In nearly every season, we’ve made amazing memories on San Juan and Orcas, and we can’t wait to explore Lopez (soon!) too. As we look ahead to 2021 adventures — we ‘re excited to keep the exquisite San Juans at the top of our list.

Before booking travel, be sure to get up to date on where we are in the state’s COVID-19 phased recovery plan. Thankfully, the islands provide an abundance of soul-boosting space in which to hike, bike, paddle and chill, even while social distancing protocols are still in place.

Before even stepping foot onto these magical lands, you can gift future travel and let the planning begin. You’ll find this Travel Guide helpful for all your lodging, restaurant and activity needs.

Looking to support island makers and artisans? Let this Merchandise Gift Guide lead the way—for Valentine’s Day and beyond. The list is long; find just a few of the tempting treasures below!

Thanks, San Juans; we sure can’t wait to see you once it’s safe to do so!
