Don’t be put off by the strange name and questionable location, Cyber-Dogs in Downtown Seattle is surprisingly inviting. Owner “Mama” Tatiana will make you feel like part of the Cyber Dogs family.
I’ve heard rave reviews from non-vegans about El Chupacabra in Phinney Ridge, so I was happy to give it a try. The ambience is like Cha Cha Lounge, just less seizure-ific. Come at night to enjoy their jukebox and cool colored lights. They’ve got a killer drink list and a tasty little zone, but the vegan options are nothing to brag about.
No need to keep you waiting, let’s get right to it with Flying Apron’s shining stars: its pastries. I didn’t try all the goodies on their loooong list of sweets, but the ones that graced my lips were tasty.
As a vegan, I’ve come to realize my cravings for Chinese food should be ignored, but because of my recent obsession with all things “Kung Fu Panda,” I couldn’t take it. The answer was Bamboo Garden in Queen Anne.
