It’s nearly that much anticipated weekend of summer yet again—Seafair—and we can think of no better place to watch the air show this Saturday and Sunday than from the Sky View Observatory. Located on the 73rd floor of Columbia Center, the nearly 1,000-foot-tall venue (which recently underwent a million dollar makeover), offers the tallest public viewing area in the Pacific Northwest.

Seattle’s iconic summertime tradition, Seafair, has released its 2017 dates. The Festival spans ten weeks from June 14 – August 20. In addition to the below Signature Events, there are and more than 30 Seafair-sanctioned community events.
Jolly clowns, boisterous pirates and perfectly choreographed drill teams will march the streets of downtown Seattle as giant helium-filled balloons line their path.
