Music Madness: Panic! At the Disco

Don’t Panic – Sweat Out Your Fever at the Showbox Panic! At The Disco Who: It has been nearly a decade since their first album shattered any rules or guidelines layed out for a band trying to create a successful breakthrough, and Panic! At the Disco has since showed the world their capabilities of pushing creativity to new heights. A Fever You Can’t Sweat Out oozed their natural gift for experimental instrumentation and it wasn’t long before these boys from Las Vegas were being summoned by Fall Out Boy’s Pete Wentz, who brought the band to the label Decaydance/Fueled By Ramen. Three albums later, Panic is down to two members, Brendon Urie and Spencer Smith (Ryan Ross and Brent Wilson left to form their own  duo) and their excited as ever to share their new album Too Weird To Live, Too Rare To Die! with fans, which debuted at #2 on the Billboard Top 200 albums chart. “This tour is going to be something completely different than we’ve ever done,” said Brendon Urie. “The energy is something that we’ve wanted to change for every tour so this time around the music will be non-stop and high energy so people should come prepared for a work-out!” Panic! has performed on Conan, Jimmy Kimmel Live, and even for the President at the 36th annual Kennedy Center Honors. Check out their latest video for Miss Jackson below, you might recognize actress Katrina Bowden – she gets her head chopped off by Urie. You probably won’t see that on 30 Rock! Tickets are currently sold out to all shows on the tour, so hit stubhub or craigslist for your ticket today. [tentblogger-youtube LUc_jXBD9DU] Panic! At the Disco |January 14th 8:00PM | Showbox Sodo
