One of Seattle’s newest waterfront restaurants, Lakeside, opened on June 16th, just in time for the summer. Located at Lake Union Piers (formerly Chandler’s Cove), Lakeside offers guests unparalleled views of the downtown Seattle skyline and Lake Union while enjoying a five-course prix fixe dinner menu, weekend brunch, or a sip-and-savor a la carte menu featuring bold flavors and unique ingredients.
Lakeside features a seasonal menu of Pacific Northwest favorites, sourced locally and prepared traditionally, often incorporating Central American flavors. The bar includes rotating local brews, wine from some of the best vineyards in Washington and Oregon, and handcrafted cocktails made with locally distilled spirits. We stopped in recently to try their prix fixe dinner menu, and were blown away by the creativity and complex flavors of the dishes. If you’re a wine lover like us, be sure to get the wine flight that pairs with the prix fixe dinner!

Lakeside is the newest offering from family owned and operated Waterways Cruises and Events, a mainstay on Seattle’s Lakes and Puget Sound since 1994. “We are thrilled to bring our commitment to elevated customer service and excellent food ashore,” said co-owner Hilton Smith. “This waterfront location is an opportunity for us to engage with our loyal guests in a new, yet familiar way. Lakeside fills a niche in the neighborhood, offering contemporary, casual fare from a trusted staff at an accessible price for most.”
The culinary team will be led by Executive Chef Trinity Mack, and the restaurant will be managed by Waterways Cruises and Events’ General Manager Jeff Culton. Lakeside is open for dinner service Thursday through Sunday, and for brunch on the weekends. Thursday and Friday hours are 4:00 – 10:30 pm, Saturday from 10:30 am – 10:30 pm, and Sunday from 10:30 am – 9:00 am.
Lakeside is located at 901 Fairview Avenue N., Seattle. For more information or to make a reservation, visit www.lakesideslu.com.
