Three weekends left to enjoy river floating in Leavenworth.

I’m sure I’ll look back on this in February and want to kick myself, but I am over the relentless summer heat and blue skies. The nonstop sun has me seeking shade and avoiding going out. Feeling like a summer scrooge, I knew I needed to find an outdoor activity that involved access to water, which is why I jumped on the opportunity to join Sound Excursions for one of their Leavenworth river tubing getaways.

Watch all the action from downtown’s Sky View Observatory.

It’s nearly that much anticipated weekend of summer yet again—Seafair—and we can think of no better place to watch the air show this Saturday and Sunday than from the Sky View Observatory. Located on the 73rd floor of Columbia Center, the nearly 1,000-foot-tall venue (which recently underwent a million dollar makeover), offers the tallest public viewing area in the Pacific Northwest.

“Ascend to the city’s highest peak…no hiking boots required. Stretch your imagination, change your outlook, get a new perspective.”, says the official website for the Sky View Observatory, which stands proud on the 73rd floor of the Columbia Center. It is not just the tallest public-viewing tower in Seattle, but the whole of the Pacific Northwest.

I’m after real friendship.

I’ve lived in Seattle my entire life so I’ve accumulated different circles of friends from school, workplaces, friends of friends, co-ed sports leagues, and more. However, with many friends, our goals or priorities simply aren’t compatible anymore. We all have our own very busy lives. People have gotten married and have kids or moved away. Finding friends post-college isn’t easy.

The dating app Seattle has been waiting for.
