Ebru Mediterranean Grill

A week before the owner, Bulent Aki, graduated from Seattle Central Community College, his professor asked his graduating class to write an article about what they will do once they graduate.  He studied computer processing in school, but had a passion to start a small business.  Working at a company on data processing, Bulent found that the business was not doing well so he had to figure out what to do next.  He reminds himself that it was a Friday when he had the urge to start his own restaurant.  He met his partner, Sharrie Nailon, when she was running her own restaurant in Seattle Center.  She had a business degree and had grown up in the area so she seemed to be a great partner for this journey.

GRAMMY nominated producer ZHU has been headlining his ‘Neon City’ tour this spring beginning with Coachella two weeks ago and playing to a sold out Seattle crowd last night. Touring with fellow Mind of a Genius act Gallant, the vibe at the show was the perfect mix of chill, dance party, and energy. The instrumentals were absolute fire set to a unique feature-length film and captivating light show. The futuristic Neon City stages adds another dimension to the sonic and visual production.

The lineup was announced tonight at a free party at the Showbox Market. Bumbershoot tickets go on sale Friday at 10! The festival will be held Friday through Sunday of Labor Day Weekend instead of Saturday through Monday in past years. Local favorites Macklemore & Ryan Lewis and Death Cab for Cutie will headline the weekend. There is a fair bit of EDM this year: Kygo, Pretty Lights, DJ Snake, Porter Robinson, Zed’s Dead, and Zhu.
