For the fifth year, downtown Tacoma is hosting its premier beer and blues festival Brew Five Three this Saturday, August 5th. This year’s event will feature 40 Washington breweries and cideries, a full day of live music featuring headliner Stephanie Anne Johnson, and a variety of food trucks.

Calling all charcuterie fans! Previously only held in Canada, The Cheese & Meat Festival is finally making its US debut with Seattle hosting its first stop at McCaw Hall! As of late, artisan shops have proliferated across the Pacific Northwest, creating a boon of variety for gourmands without recourse to disseminate them all. Luckily, the showcase will exhibit both international and local meats and cheeses in an enjoyably experiential tasting format.

Join City Fruit for the 6th Annual Cider Taste fundraiser on November 10th at AXIS Pioneer Square. The event features 10 Washington cideries and five local outstanding chefs preparing sips and bites for the evening! Over 300 people will gather and raise funds for City Fruit’s annual harvest that feeds thousands of families each year. Attendees will sample from over 30 ciders and feast on specially crafted and paired plates using the finest local produce. Hand-crafted cider cocktails will round out the evening.
Now in its third year, Belltown’s popular summer wine and beer festival, Belltown Crush Party, has grown to take up two whole blocks! The event features a pig roast from Seattleite favorite Bell & Whete, local food trucks, live music (how often do you get to hear a steel drum band?) provided by Belltown Beats, and a great selection of wine and beer. To top it all off, they’ll be hosting a grape stomping competition! This will be the perfect way to spend a leisurely Sunday afternoon on August 28th, celebrating the Belltown community and supporting a good cause.
Get your pretzel necklaces ready for the South Sound’s celebration of beer and blues as it makes it way to Downtown Tacoma for its 4th year, packed with a great lineup of blues artists for your musical entertainment! This Saturday, August 13th, 30+ breweries and cideries, alongside six food vendors will provide the goods for a stellar block party experience. Anticipating a sold-out event, organizers at the Broadway Center have limited the capacity for the fest this year to provide the best experience for festival-goers and vendors alike.

It features more than 40 of the state’s distilleries in collaboration with 15 local restaurants and food purveyors for savory bites and sweet treats.
