We’ve always found British Columbia to be an alluring destination: The beautiful province is conveniently close to Seattle and offers an opportunity to use our passports when we’re feeling the itch. Perhaps most importantly, Canada happens to be home to some of the nicest people on the planet. (And right now, for obvious reasons, many of us feel an urge to migrate north more than ever before.)
Visit Seattle reminds us that this city welcomes everyone—and celebrates diversity and inclusion. We couldn’t be prouder to call this […]
Love is all around for us at Seattleite and this Valentine’s Day, Tulalip Resort Casino is offering a night of fun-loving Rock and Roll music and perfectly matched plates. The Resort’s centerpiece events are the annual Rock Ballad Ball, which features music from two tribute bands and a jamming buffet dinner, or a choice from their seven award-winning restaurants that spotlight amorous inspired dishes and drinks.
The first SoulCycle in the Seattle area opened in January at the Lincoln expansion in downtown Bellevue and I was excited to check it out. I was told it takes about three classes to really “get” SoulCycle so I bought their $60 3-class starter pack (discounted from the usual $28 per class). The BVUE Soul Starter Pack is still available for a limited time!
Project 5 x 5 gives five filmmakers the chance to showcase our beloved city.
On a recent snowy Tuesday in Park City, Utah, SundanceTV hosted a revolutionary event with the hardworking team of our very own Visit Seattle to celebrate the launch of Project Five by Five. The happening party showed off some of Seattle’s finest assets, from artist Allen Stone to freshly-shucked oysters and Rachel’s Ginger Beer-based cocktails. It also put our stunning city on the big screen, exposing viewers to the magic we call home.
Guest author Antonio Garguile is a Seattle area lawyer who explains some of the excuses (that never work) when trying to get out of a DUI.
We have all heard them, some of us have thought them, and in 2016 alone over 23,000 drivers in Washington State likely used them. Simply put, when it comes to drunk driving, cops have heard them all before and are actively looking for a reason to pull you over. It’s time to put these excuses to bed where they belong.
All the meat and cheese your heart desires
Calling all charcuterie fans! Previously only held in Canada, The Cheese & Meat Festival is finally making its US debut with Seattle hosting its first stop at McCaw Hall! As of late, artisan shops have proliferated across the Pacific Northwest, creating a boon of variety for gourmands without recourse to disseminate them all. Luckily, the showcase will exhibit both international and local meats and cheeses in an enjoyably experiential tasting format.
Located 40 minutes north of Seattle is the stunning AAA Four Diamond Tulalip Resort Casino where you’ll find a multitude of offerings, including luxurious accommodations, a rejuvenating spa, first-class entertainment, fine-dining restaurants, and impeccable service. This weekend getaway is right next to discounted designer shopping at the Seattle Premium Outlets. Seattleite was fortunate to stay and enjoy all that the Tulalip Resort Casino had to offer and we want to share it with you!
