Located just 80 miles from Seattle nestled amongst the Cascade Mountains, Suncadia is the perfect lovers escape this February with its ‘Sweetheart Saturdays’ events. Each weekend offers different romance-inducing activities such as cocktails and coal drawings, blind-folded yoga with wine(!), latin dancing, or a snowshoe and brew tour.
Valentines Day
Cupid’s Undie Run is a super fun, crazy 1-mile charity race where runners wear ONLY UNDERWEAR. Seattle’s edition takes place this Saturday at Westlake at noon! Cupid’s Undie Run focuses on the amazing mission to raise awareness for NF (Neurofibromatosis) and provide funds to The Children’s Tumor Foundation. The event is held in a total of 39 cities nationally and has currently raised over $2 million. Unlike other cities who hosted the run earlier this month with freezing temperatures like DC and Detroit, Saturday’s forecast calls for a party cloudy day and a high of 52 here in Seattle.
It’s 12 days until Valentine’s Day and if you’re on the hunt, there’s still time to find someone to spend it with. For Seattleites who have a busy schedule, recently moved to the city, or just don’t meet new people in their everyday lives, dating can be tricky. That’s where online dating comes in. Which app should you use? Which one is the best? The answer isn’t that straightforward: it depends on what you’re looking for.
Caution: Not safe for significantly other’s eyes.
Sometimes good people do bad things. Like forget to make Valentine’s Day reservations. But luckily for those good people, there are a few fine establishments that will add just the right amount of sweetness
Things will get a lil’ hot and steamy at the Triple Door this weekend.
If you consider the outpouring of cliché Valentine’s Day roses, heart-shaped chocolate boxes, jewelry ads, lingerie commercials, or just all shades of red as exhausting, you have yet to see The Atomic Bombshells combine it all in their cheeky flair.
Couples that cook together, stay together — isn’t that how the old saying goes?

One thing’s for sure: couples that attend the upcoming culinary class from Parties That Cook will have a great time and learn a thing or two in the process (and we’re not just talking about cooking techniques). Hosted by the Seattle Wine Outlet, Date Night Couples’ Cooking Class will be held from 6:30 to 9 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 20.
