Now you can party and help the Hutch fight cancer at the same time.
If you’re a true Seattleite, you instinctively want to help Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center in any way possible. And if you’re a true wine enthusiast, this event will grab you by the palate.
Taste for a Cure 2011 is a wine party unlike all the others! The cost of entry is a bottle of expensive wine ($75 or more retail value) or a $75 cash contribution to the Hutch.
In return, you are helping a major cause, while sampling Northwest wines and microbrews from around the world and munching on tasty bites. There will also be live entertainment and a chance to win a one-night stay at Hotel 1000.
The party is happening on Friday, June 17 from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. in the Great Room & Terrace at Hotel 1000. You can RSVP on Facebook at Arnold Guild (philanthropists supporting the fundraising efforts of the Hutch) or at the event’s official Web site. You can also RSVP by phone at (425) 698-3056 — but you must do so by Friday, June 3.
Donated wine will be auctioned at the upcoming Hutch Holiday Gala this December, the single largest fundraiser benefiting Fred Hutchison Cancer Research Center. Over the last 34 years, the gala raised more than $69 million to support vital cancer research.
So raise your wine glass, and join in the cause! Cheers!
