Beer Lovers Weekend Brunch at Belltown Brewing

If there’s one thing I love more than the seemingly endless options of locally crafted beer in the PNW, it’s the access I have to brunch food that gives me reason to get up on the weekend. When I heard that Head Brewer Adam Frantz worked with the Belltown Brewing kitchen team to sneak beer into every item on their weekend brunch menu, I knew I had check it out for myself.

Brunch features a Cinnamon Roll with mocha stout icing, beer-spiked béchamel on the Croque Madam, and French Toast with beer reduction maple syrup. There’s something for every beer aficionado to love on the new beer-focused weekend brunch menu at Belltown Brewing.

I enjoyed the Bacon Brunch Pizza with ham, bacon, green onions, egg, and fontina on a garlic oil base. While the Bratwurst Scramble with beer braised bratwurst, green onion, bacon and fontina was tasty, the portion size was too small and the dry toast on the side left something to be desired. However, the Cinnamon Roll with Mocha Stout Icing certainly made up for it and rounded out the meal nicely.

Brunch beverages include Bottomless Mimosas for $15, Spiked Cold Brew with Vanilla Vodka, and Belltown Brewing’s Brass Money Bell St. Wheat with fresh squeezed orange juice.

Like most restaurants in Belltown on the weekend, the space was fairly empty. While I prefer a bustling restaurant, a big perk of a quieter neighborhood means a higher chance of grabbing a patio spot on those rare sunny Seattle days—and Belltown Brewing does not disappoint when it comes to patio space.

Have some fun at your next brunch by creating your own coasters with the crayons and blank canvas coasters that Belltown Brewing puts out on every table!

Brunch is offered every Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 am – 4:00 pm. View the full menu online here.
