WaMu Theater will be transformed for a night of sushi and wrestling on April 28th as three champion sumo wrestlers come to town. An event unlike any other in Seattle, locals will revel in this 1500-year-old Japanese sport as they enjoy sushi and Japanese beverages.
I’ll admit, I tend to stay away from restaurants situated on the ground floor of one of the luxury apartments slowly taking over the city, especially if that restaurant is in South Lake Union. But after stepping into Dexter Brewhouse, it was clear that the space was created intentionally to provide a warm, cozy spot in an ever-changing neighborhood.
Veggie Grill is a vegan chain with 28 locations that recently made its way up the West Coast to Seattle. Everything on the menu is vegan, a rare find for a chain restaurant serving up fast, casual meals.

Henry’s Tavern first opened in Seattle in 2013 with its SoDo location that quickly established itself as a local favorite and a game day destination.
