This local brewski company keeps the hops drinking experience fresh with old tradition.

Many Seattleites can admit to having argued with friends/local patrons/now arch nemeses at least once about their dive bar beer preferences.  The huffy “I’m from the East Coast, so I’m a PBR drinker” logic is pitted against the indignant “Gotta go with Vitamin R, man, it’s local!” rationale.  Alas, the dispute remains objectively unresolved.

Unique meats, indulgent cheeses, and an industrial atmosphere make this burger spot one to enjoy.

In the Seattle burger scene, the bacon definitely rises to the top.  With the closing of the highly regarded Counter in Ballard, it goes to show, if you’re going to cook it up in Seattle, it better be good, which is why I was surprised when a friend, a true Red Mill loyalist, invited me to Capitol Hill’s newest meat and cheese joint, 8 oz. Burger Bar.

However, we will also argue that it gets much more beautiful after a couple glasses of fine Italian wine and a hearty helping of creamy linguini with salmon followed by the most delicate, flavorful, melt-in-your-mouth Tiramisu you will ever have the pleasure of eating.
