It’s been a roller coaster winter this year. In comparison to past years, there’s been more sun and less rain at the expense of a lot of snow. While I personally loved the snow (don’t hate me) I think we’re all more than ready to put that past us, right? As we anxiously await spring and warmer temperatures, here’s a list of our favorite parks for walks (you just might need to bundle up).

Herbivore Botanicals releases Emerald, a new facial oil made with weed
When I heard local beauty gurus Herbivore Botanicals was releasing a new skincare product made with cannabis, I wasn’t surprised. That’s so Seattle. Many other beauty companies have been using CBD (Do yourself a favor and get a Kush Queen bath bomb – your welcome) to soothe aches and pains and enhance relaxation for some time, but I love supporting local and was excited to learn why Herbivore decided to dabble with cannabis.

Experience yoga in the sky with a 360-degree panoramic view in the heart of downtown Seattle. Sky View Observatory, the tallest public viewing area in the Pacific Northwest is offering a four-part Vinyasa yoga series starting Sunday, October 21st at $20.00 per class.
Fabletics, an athleisure brand by Kate Hudson, opened their first retail location in the Pacific Northwest. The brand opened a flagship store at The Bellevue Collection, located in Bellevue Square on August 30th. The brand will celebrate its 5-year anniversary this October and has enhanced in-store concepts, brand new in-store look, and special collections for this landmark occasion.

For me, June began on an extremely sad note. First, we lost the iconic fashion designer Kate Spade. A couple days later, Anthony Bourdain, beloved chef and storyteller extraordinaire was found dead in his hotel room. There was an outpouring of grief from all over the world.
