Who doesn’t love a good baked potato? They remind me of childhood, but I haven’t had one in years. Off the top of my head, I’d be hard-pressed to name a restaurant that serves baked potatoes. It’s probably a safe bet to guess a steak house? Upon hearing about Papas Hot Potatoes, my love for baked potatoes was rekindled and we quickly made plans within the week to check it out.
Herbivore Botanicals releases Emerald, a new facial oil made with weed

When I heard local beauty gurus Herbivore Botanicals was releasing a new skincare product made with cannabis, I wasn’t surprised. That’s so Seattle. Many other beauty companies have been using CBD (Do yourself a favor and get a Kush Queen bath bomb – your welcome) to soothe aches and pains and enhance relaxation for some time, but I love supporting local and was excited to learn why Herbivore decided to dabble with cannabis.
Sheraton hotels enhance guests’ experiences, from Seattle to Sydney
This October, Sheraton Grand Seattle—located in the heart of downtown—hosted a week-long celebration to mark the completion of its stunning, multi-million-dollar transformation and to make announcements about the entire brand’s exciting revamp. The only U.S. destination on Sheraton’s “Heart for the City” experiential global tour, this iconic Seattle hotel (that boasts three decades of history within the community) seemed like a natural fit.
We’re less than a month away from 2019, and eagerly anticipating the most wonderful part of the year. Christmas trees, hot chocolate, cozy knits, and so many gifts. One of the best parts is giving and receiving gifts. Gifting is an art but can also become stressful at times.
There is a sense of celebration in the air, with Christmas around the corner. The most festive (and delicious!) time of the year is almost here. It’s time to catch up with friends and family over lingering feasts and conversations. Good food and wine are synonymous with Christmas parties. While most of us plan the food way in advance, picking out the wines is often a last-minute stressor. It doesn’t have to be that way!

Good eats, awesome trails, and small-town hospitality in Bentonville, AR

When Visit Bentonville invited us to come check out their city, best known as the birthplace of Walmart, I laughed. A lot. They preached about their award-winning chefs and up and coming “High South” food scene, and I rolled my eyes. Why would anyone from Seattle, arguably one of the best foodie cities in the country, go to Arkansas for the food (or for anything)? How many ways could they do meat and potatoes? Also, Bentonville is in the Ozarks which I’ve been binging on Netflix, and it looked scary as shit. I thought about being a typical Seattleite and passively ignoring the invite, but something caught my eye – this unassuming town had 163 miles of award-winning cycling trails weaving in and around it, making it a top destination for a biker’s vacation.
