Earl Thomas was absent and the Seattle Seahawks were away at Lambeau Field, but that doesn’t excuse any of their play on Sunday, which was one of their worst performances of the season (offensively and defensively).

Russell Wilson threw five (five!) interceptions, the defense just kinda went through the motions, and the wideouts dropped some easy catches that really hurt the Seahawks.

Smash Putt! Miniature Golf Apocalypse returns to Seattle to hit it one last time. Experience brand new crazy contraptions presented with a collection of your favorites from our nostalgic past! Winter beer season has officially begun and beer fans around the world rejoice. Seattle-born Elysian Brewery recently dropped their winter seasonal Bifrost, a delicious winter pale ale a little different from the holiday ales you are used to. While many winter brews are quite dark with spicy notes, Bifrost is lighter bodied and has some citrus notes along with spice and caramel apples. It is an incredibly drinkable winter ale, especially for its 8.3% ABV.

Well it wasn’t a very competitive game, but a win is a win is a win is a win. Rebounding from that weird loss to Tampa Bay last week, the Seahawks murked the Carolina Panthers in Seattle in a game that had an interesting start which included a rare Derek Anderson sighting, a rare Marshawn Lynch sighting, and the possible last play of Earl Thomas’ magnificent career (please stay Earl).

Here in the Pacific Northwest, we’ve fallen back for daylight savings, Thanksgiving weekend just passed, and we’ve officially entered the holiday season. Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s Eve are the standard celebrations, but have you considered visiting our neighbors up north for Chinese New Year? It’s a quick trip—2 hours and 15 minutes hours if there’s no traffic (check border traffic before you head out).

As we launch into this joyful season that promises to be chock-a-block with decadent indulgences, fun-filled fetes and hopefully some hygge-heavy downtime, too, we’ve found the best way to give December a grounding and rejuvenating start. (And while you’re planning out this festive month, don’t forget these holiday getaway ideas at luxurious locations up and down the West Coast!)
