Hot new restaurants that should be on your radar this spring.

I’ve been eating my way around Seattle and these are my favorites right now. Bar Melusine in Capitol Hill, Girin in Pioneer Square, and Salare in Ravenna need to be at the top of your restaurant list. They opened within the last year and they are doing things right. Each offers a different cuisine, and all of them have tasty, flavorful food, wonderful service, and a beautiful space.

Duke Dumont aka Adam Dyment’s transition from a mobile phone ringtone worker to techno producer to chart house crossover supremo has seen him top the charts twice already and set up his own record label, Blase’ Boys Club. The No. 1s in question, ‘Need U (100%)‘ and ‘I Got U’, have managed to push commercial house and dance music up to the top of the UK charts.

He’s coming to Seattle for a show at Q Nightclub on Thursday, March 24th and we have a pair of passes to give away to this sold out show!

New Constitution Clothing (NCC) is a Bellevue-based company featuring unisex clothing designed to provide a longer, slimmer, tailored fit. It gives a sophisticated look, complementing your frame no matter your size. The logo is subtle, and the fit, look, and feel of the designs speak for themselves. NCC uses high-quality Peruvian cotton and you can feel the difference. We had the chance to sit down with owner, Brandon Harkless, to talk about his company.

A whole food menu that tastes good and makes you feel good too.

Sweetgrass Food Co. has partnered with local producers and suppliers to serve local, sustainable and (mostly) organic foods. Everything is made from scratch, in house. The best part is that they serve something for everyone: from sustainable, hormone and antibiotic free meat and dairy, to vegan, gluten-free, and allergy-restriction options. Sweetgrass is located in Westlake and they’re planning to open a second location in Pioneer Square later this year.

Come celebrate women’s right to choose with a cavalcade of chocolate! Every year, the Puget Sound region’s best chocolatiers and bakers create delicious confections for NARAL Pro-Choice Washington supporters to sample, while a panel of celebrity judges including Stranger restaurant critic Angela Garbes, KEXP DJ Riz Rollins, and Seattle Times columnist Nicole Brodeur choose the best of the best in local chocolates, pastries, and baked goods.

Super Six is inspired by its location in a former auto body shop on Hudson Street in Columbia City. It’s the sixth concept by the Marination team, which includes Marination’s food truck Big Blue, Marination Station, Marination ma kai (on Alki Beach—my favorite Marination concept), Marination catering, and their home base commissary. Along with a full cocktail bar and beer garden, the menu at Super Six focuses on Asian flavors complementing American comfort food and Pacific Northwest staples.

Come light up your night and taste some of the best food and drinks the Seattle Area has to offer from local artisans at the historical Pike Place Market. There will also be Entertainment and an Instant-Win Raffle this year! The Arcade Lights event raises money to help continue some of our programming, right here in the Marketplace Community. All proceeds go towards our Senior Center, Food Bank, Preschool, Medical Clinic and so much more!

Every March, Washington State Wine (WSW)—the organization that represents all wineries and vineyards in Washington State—honors the ever-growing Washington State wine industry with a month-long celebration of tastings, pairings, promotions and events. To celebrate Taste Washington Wine Month 2016, the Fairmont Olympic Hotel will host their second annual wine event series.
