Fact: these days, it’s cool to own and use a bicycle. Some choose to cruise down the city streets, while others take their hobby into the rugged outdoors. All of them agree – nothing beats a bike ride on a sunny day. Plus, they give us much-needed exercise that we can’t accomplish by driving a car. And with the gas prices these days, it literally pays to go green.

Jonathan Porretta has danced ballet since he was 7 years old, and has been with the Pacific Northwest Ballet for the past 12 years. He joined the company in 1999, and moved through the ranks to become a principal dancer in 2005. He most recently danced the roles of Oberon and Puck in George Balanchine’s “A Midsummer Night’s Dream.”
Everybody knows bourbon is a type of whiskey (we hope). However, did you know that all true bourbons are distilled in Bourbon County, Kentucky? Or that a Baptist Minister named Elijah Craig is (supposedly) credited with making the first batch of this classic American spirit in the late 18th century?
