Seattle Sounders face Houston Dynamo Tuesday for the first round of the Western Conference Championship.

The Seattle Sounders Football Club will look to continue their journey to become the first repeating MLS Champions since 2012 on November 21st at the BBVA Compass Stadium against the Houston Dynamo. The Sounders will have history against them as they have never been victorious in their MLS franchise history in Houston.

Anyone who saw the opening act for Jack Johnson and The Avett Brothers at The Gorge this summer likely walked away with an unexpected new music crush. The Stranger has called John Craigie “…the lovechild of John Prine and Mitch Hedberg with a vagabond troubadour edge,” and any concert goer who’s experienced him live can attest to the fact that the guy is talented, charming and just plain funny. If you’re wise, you’ll catch him at The Triple Door on Tuesday, December 5 (or in other PNW locales throughout December).

SMooCH Announces Musical and Culinary Talent for Sixth Annual Benefit

On Saturday, December 2nd, Seattle’s talented music community will come together with sponsors KEXP and Sub Pop Records to support Seattle Musicians for Children’s Hospital (SMooCH). Along with Phantogram’s performance, there will be a live auction, and a selection of culinary and wine tastings from local chefs and Washington winemakers.
