Honoring local do-gooders like the Bartell family at a “Denim to Diamonds” downtown bash.

With the New Year—and the political climate increasingly disconcerting—there seems no better time to celebrate those among us who make do-gooding missions a regular practice. In 1996, The Seattle Hotel Association created the “Evening of Hope” gala to showcase those who make a difference in the community. Over the past 19 years, proceeds (totaling more than $5.6 million) have benefited dozens of local charities by leveraging the collective strength of 58 downtown member hotels.

We had the opportunity to attend the opening night of Finding Neverland by KeyBank Broadway at The Paramount Theatre. Going in, even though I knew the story and had seen the movie before, it was much more than I expected! The highlight of the show was the incorporation of comedy and the talent of the four young boys who stole the show! There are a few remaining showtimes, including tomorrow, Saturday, and Sunday.

The countdown is on! In just 11 days, SOULCYCLE BELLEVUE will be open!

That’s right. On Friday, January 20th, SoulCycle is kicking off the cardio party at the very first Seattle-area studio at 500 Bellevue Way in the Lincoln Square expansion. And with a rockstar instructor lineup (learn more HERE and below!), lockers with USB ports, showers, signature SOUL retail and our one-of-a-kind rides, we can’t wait for you to check it out.

It’s playoff time for the National Football League, and to some it’s the best time of the year because the games really, really, really matter, and to others it’s the best time of the year because the dreaded, loathed, and hated football season is almost over. If you’re reading this, you’re in the former category, and hooray for us, because football is great and fun.
