What better way to celebrate sunshine returning to Seattle than a new brew from a hometown favorite? Rainier Brewing Company has been brewing mountain fresh beers in the Pacific Northwest since 1878, and this month the company is releasing a new limited time offering called Rainier Radler.

Executive Chef and Restaurateur Brian Clevenger’s newest restaurant – Le Messe – opened in Seattle’s Eastlake neighborhood on January 25th, and it’s already making a name for itself. Staying true to what Clevenger is known for at Vendemmia, Raccolto, and East Anchor Seafood, the full service restaurant and bar features an assortment of house extruded pastas, fresh local vegetables, and a variety of seafood dishes. Le Messe’s diverse menu centers on Pacific Northwest ingredients and changes with the seasons.
I’ll admit, I tend to stay away from restaurants situated on the ground floor of one of the luxury apartments slowly taking over the city, especially if that restaurant is in South Lake Union. But after stepping into Dexter Brewhouse, it was clear that the space was created intentionally to provide a warm, cozy spot in an ever-changing neighborhood.

Henry’s Tavern, an upscale tavern-inspired bar and restaurant, recently opened a new location in SLU at 501 Fairview Avenue N. Henry’s Tavern first opened in Seattle in 2013 with its SoDo location that quickly established itself as a local favorite and a game day destination. This will be the third Henry’s Tavern in the Seattle-area following the opening of Henry’s in Bellevue downtown this summer.
